About Indy Alexander
A Short Bio
Indy Alexander is a contemporary representational painter from Northern California. Having always been fascinated by visual art and music, he began painting and pursued art education at Sierra College during high school, later exhibiting and being awarded 1st Place and Friends of The Library award at their annual Student Exhibition. From there, he has gone on to participate in the Art Auction at the Crocker Museum in Sacramento, California yearly, as well as exhibitions throughout California.
Indy’s paintings exhibit various themes through the portrait, still life, and landscape scenery, including those of catharsis and time. When painting the portrait, his focus on the eyes garners attention to the rest of the work; believing that the eyes can dictate the very feel of a painting. Indy has always called upon life experiences and events, using painting as a therapeutic action to visually portray feeling and emotion.

Artefex Lead White Oil-Primed ACM Panel is a professional panel for oil painting with lead white oil priming on a two-sided aluminum composite panel, consisting of two aluminum sheets laminated to both sides of a black polyethylene core. This panel is 3mm thick and is available in Smooth (411) and Eggshell (410) and in sizes from 5 x 7 to 24 x 30 inches.
