Artefex Allinpanel is a professional art panel for oil painting with 100% linen canvas lead oil-primed and adhered with BEVA 371 film to a two-sided aluminum composite panel, consisting of two aluminum sheets laminated to both sides of a black polyethylene core. This panel is available in Medium Weave Linen(531), Fine Weave Linen(533), and Extra Fine Linen(532) in sizes from 8 x 10 to 20 x 24 inches.

What is Rublev Lead Alkyd Ground?

Rublev Colours Lead Alkyd Ground is a blend of white pigments in alkyd for a semi-absorbent ground ideal for oil and alkyd painting. Formulated for priming non-absorbent rigid supports like ACM or copper. Suitable for absorbent rigid supports like solid wood, hardboard, or canvas mounted on rigid supports. Best for rigid supports. Rublev Lead Alkyd Ground typically dries within eight hours.

Lead Oil Primed 100% Linen Canvas

Artefex crafts its lead oil-primed panels with 100% linen canvas, primed in Italy to provide a smooth, absorbent surface perfect for oil painters. Then re-primed in California with the Rublev Lead Alkyd Ground. The linen is available in plain weave textures: medium (531), fine (533), and extra fine (532). The canvas is treated with multiple layers of animal collagen glue and lead oil priming compounds, ensuring optimal paint adhesion and color vibrancy. This meticulous priming process heightens the brightness and tone of your oil paints, allowing for fluent and well-defined brushstrokes.

    I love how this panel was packed, first of all. It came very quickly and I received confirmation right after I purchased the panels.
    I started painting on one and the surface is excellent. Not slippery and paint attaches downward.
    Many panels have surface bumps even after the first pass. Artefex not only primes perfectly but their panels are rigid with options for different textures of canvas and priming.

I'm delighted with this panel and particularly love the fine lead primed linen surface which is ready to paint. Excellent overall quality. When I compare Artefex panels cost to the total cost, time and effort to build my traditional wood stretcher canvases, the Artefex panels are a great value and solution. For me, there is no going back to wood stretchers. This is the future.

We cut Artefex ACM panels to standard sizes but we also cut custom panels in any shape or size you don’t see above.

We use 3mm thick ACM panels to provide the most durable, rigid, and long-lasting support for your art. ACM panels do not react to relative humidity and other environmental changes, providing a very stable support for artwork. For larger sizes up to 5ft by 10ft we use a 6mm thick Gridpanel.

Finally we inspect and stamp every panel before sending it to you. This stamp represents an insurance policy not just for artists but for collectors. Your artwork is safe on an Artefex panel for generations.
