Artefex Lead White Oil-Primed ACM Panel is a professional oil primed art panel with Rublev lead white oil priming on a two-sided aluminum composite panel, consisting of two aluminum sheets laminated to both sides of a black polyethylene core. This panel is 3mm thick and is available in Smooth (411) and Eggshell (410) and in sizes from 5 x 7 to 24 x 30 inches.

At the heart of each Artefex panel lies a two-sided aluminum composite material (ACM), composed of two durable aluminum sheets that encase a resilient black polyethylene core. With a substantial thickness of 3mm (solid core), 6mm (Honeycomb aluminum core) or 1 inch gallery (3mm solid core), these panels offer a sturdy foundation for your masterpieces.
Exquisite Surface Preparation
We coat the surface of the Artefex Lead White Oil-Primed ACM Panel with Rublev Colours’ lead white Alkyd oil primer. This primer ensures a luminous, smooth application of oil paint, enhancing the depth and richness of your colors without the dreaded “sinking in”. The lead oil primer creates an ideal surface that grips the paint superbly, allowing for intricate detailing and effortless blending. We use 3mm thick ACM panels to provide the most durable, rigid, and long-lasting support for your art. ACM panels do not react to relative humidity and other environmental changes, providing a very stable support for artwork. For larger sizes up to 5ft by 10ft we use a 6mm thick Gridpanel.
Finally we inspect and stamp every panel before sending it to you. This stamp represents an insurance policy not just for artists but for collectors. Your artwork is safe on an Artefex panel for generations.
