Q1: What makes the Allinpanel's oil priming process different from standard acrylic priming?
This panel uses 100% linen canvas primed with a pure linseed oil binder and titanium dioxide, bonded with BEVA 371 film to a two-sided aluminum composite panel. Oil priming is a far more intricate process than acrylic priming, involving two coats of animal collagen glue followed by two to five coats of oil priming — up to seven coats total — then drying in low-temperature, humidity-controlled ovens to achieve the ideal surface for oil, oil-resin, and oil-alkyd paints.

This panel comes in three plain-weave textures: Medium (536) with a 22x38 thread count, Fine (537) with a denser 38x38 weave, and Extra Fine (538) with the tightest 43x43 weave for the smoothest surface. Each option is built to enhance the brightness and tone of oil colors while allowing for fluent, well-defined brushstrokes.
