Artefex Alcotpanel is a professional art panel for oil and acrylic painting with cotton/polyester canvas, acrylic or lead alkyd oil -primed in Italy and adhered with BEVA 371 film to a two-sided aluminum composite panel, consisting of two aluminum sheets laminated to both sides of a black polyethylene core. Available in Medium (587), Fine (516), Extra-Fine (513).

We use 3mm thick ACM panels to provide the most durable, rigid, and long-lasting support for your art. ACM panels do not react to relative humidity and other environmental changes, providing a very stable support for artwork. For larger sizes up to 5ft by 10ft we use a 6mm thick Gridpanel.
Finally we inspect and stamp every panel before sending it to you. This stamp represents an insurance policy not just for artists but for collectors. Your artwork is safe on an Artefex panel for generations.

J'ai cherch pendant longtemps ce genre de support. Lger, toile trs peu textur, et sur panneau rigide. Le grain fin est parfait. Je suis enchante de l'avoir entre les mains. J'ai maintenant trs hte d'y mettre le premier coup de pinceau. Aussi, envoie trs rapide pour le Canada, merci! 🙂

These panels are ultra smooth with a slight tooth, slightly rougher than an egg shell. The panels meet or exceed the quality Ive come to know with Artefex. They are my go to panel l, due to the quality, and longevity. If you want your painting to last years then buy whatever you choose. If you want your work to be seen for hundreds of years then choose the Artefex ACM panel. This product is superior to anything Ive ever seen. Also, when you paint fine details, the surface doesnt have the push back like a regular traditional wooden support.
