Tips for Achieving Optimal Mounting and Painting Results on Artefex Panels

1. Acclimate the Panel:

   • Ensure the panel reaches room temperature before use, particularly if it has been stored in a cold environment.

2. Control Humidity:

   • Maintain stable humidity levels and avoid overly dry conditions.

3. Handle with Care:

   • Avoid touching the panel surface with bare hands to avoid transferring oils to the surface.
   • Refrain from letting any cleaning liquids or solvents (except ethyl or isopropyl alcohol) dry on the panel.

4. Remove Protective Film Carefully:

   • If the panel is covered with a protective film, remove it slowly and carefully to minimize static build-up.

5. Use Ionized Air:

   • For best outcomes, sweep the panel surface with ionized air before painting or mounting to reduce static electricity. This is optional and should only be used if you have trouble properly attaching the glue or canvas to the panel. Unprimed ACM art panels

6. Temperature Limits:

   • Keep the panel away from heat sources exceeding 80°C (175°F). Most importantly keep the environment consistent. If its warm make sure its warm throughout the entire process. If its cold and damp, make sure its cold and damp throughout the entire mounting process.
